ROBERT "BOB" E. HOPE

Marion-Robert "Bob" E. Hope, 82 passed away at 12:35 P.M. Thursday September 5, 2019 in the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion surrounded by his family.

He was born in Johnston City on March 22, 1937 the son of James R. and Elsie M. (Williams) Hope.

Robert served in the US Army for three years in Germany.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and a good cowboy movie.

He is survived by his wife, Sallye (Shepherd); daughter's, Robin and Scott Moore, Lela and Paul Mocaby, Melody and Cliff Martin, and Melissa and Harold Harrell; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, James and Bill; and daughter, Melinda Kay.

Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
