ROGER DENNIS MODGLIN
Johnston City-Roger Dennis Modglin, 62, of Murphysboro passed away at 10:20 A.M. on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
A private service will be held at a later date. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Roger was born on October 23, 1950 in Chester the son of William Albert and Verl (Derickson) Modglin.
Roger had worked at Mid-West Brush & Pepsi. He loved the outdoors and loved to fish.
He is survived by 3 nieces; Sarah Gibbens and husband Ronnie of Johnston City, Willie Ottolini and husband Douglas of Carterville, and Mary Claunch and husband Larry of Johnston City; several great nieces and great nephews; and two great-great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Verl Ellen Walden and Charlotte Modglin; and a brother, David Modglin.
