ROLAND ROGERS

Johnston City-Roland Rogers 79 passed away at 3:33 P.M. Thursday January 14, 2021 at the Herrin Hospital.

Roland was born on April 25, 1941 in Williamson County the son of William Earl and Reathel (Davis) Rogers

Roland is survived by his wife, Selma (Wiseman) Rogers; a daughter, Myranda; and a grandson, Shawn.

Services for Roland will be held at a later date. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

He was a retired coal miner and a proud member of the U.M.W.A. He owned and operated Rural Welding and Machine Shop. He was a NASCAR and drag racing fan.
