RONALD A. LITTON SR.
Herrin–Ronald A. Litton Sr. 74, of Herrin, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at his family home.
Ronald was born on May 13, 1937 in Johnston City, the son of Leo and Berniece (Lannom) Litton. He married Mary D. (Sullivan) on September 13, 1958. She survives.
Ronald retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1975 after 21 years of service serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from the V.A. Hospital in 1995 after working there for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of Herrin; one son Ronald A. Litton Jr. of Herrin; one daughter, Mary Jane Litton of Hawaii; three grandchildren, Russell Lee Chamness, Dylan Pierman, and Ryan Small; and a sister, Jeanne Delai and husband John of Sebring, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Timothy Lee Litton; and a sister, Virginia Karcher.
There will be no services. The Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
