ROSE M. BENNETT-EDWARDS

Marion–Rose M. Bennett Edwards 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 7:30 A.M. at home.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Monday March 16, 2026 at 1:00 P.M with Pastor Andrew Hastie officiating. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery of Marion. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Rose was born on March 24, 1941 in Dow the daughter of Earl and Rosetta (Hagen) Bryant. She married Jesse Edwards who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Serrett, Rebecca Sills; a son, Jimmy Blevins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Steven Blevins.
