ROSIE MARY PIGG
Murphysboro-Rosie Mary Pigg, 83, passed away at 7:05 P.M. on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Rosie was born on October 8, 1932 in Portageville, MO the daughter of Albert Lee and Roxie Nancey Williams (Frazier) Galloway.
Rosie was a homemaker. She spent most of her life in Missouri and Southern Illinois. She was a farm girl at heart who could do anything she put her mind to. She loved and was loved by her family.
She is survived by a son, Douglas Ray Pyne of Tucson, AZ; a daughter, Terry Michelle Conners of Murphysboro; a daughter, Debra Ann Brantley of Murphysboro; grandchildren, Debbie Doris Korski of Salem, OR; Rachel V.H. Garrison of Monahans, TX, Amber D. Brantley of Watertown, MA, Clarence Pigg of Eugene, OR; a son-in-law, Edgar Brantley of Murphysboro; great grandchildren, William Z. Garrison, David P.J. Garrison, Bryon Henry Garrison, and James Q. Garrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
