RUSSELL RAY MORRIS
Herrin–Russell Ray Morris 81 passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 8:45 A.M. at home.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday December 31, 2015 at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hurricane Cemetery in Carterville.
Russell was born on April 30, 1934 in Herrin the son of Lewis Seatin and Bessie (Moore) Morris. He married Leona Joyce Morris who preceded him in death.
He was a mechanic and had worked at Tuck Tape in Carbondale for 21 years.
He is survived by two sons, Russell Donald Morris and wife Niki of Herrin and Clarence Clausen and wife Tina of Benton; two grandchildren, Lushawna Marie Morris and Christopher Ray Morris; several brothers and sisters; and a special friend, Kathy Beegle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Christopher Morris.
