RUTH JORDAN

Marion-Ruth Jordan 80, passed away Wednesday May 12, 2021 at 8:24 A.M. in the Carrier Mills Nursing & Rehab Center.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday May 22, 2021 in the Dillingham Cemetery in east of Johnston City with Pastor Eddie Donelson officiating. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Ruth was born on October 27, 1940 in Thompsonville the daughter of Lloyd and Mary (Craig) Strike. She married Clint Jordan. He survives.

She was a homemaker. Ruth was a member of the Pittsburg Free Will Baptist Church. She used to sale Avon. She liked yard sales, talking with friends on the telephone, planting flowers, and working circle word puzzles.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer May and Loren Lemasters of Johnston City; three grandchildren, Austin Lemasters of Johnston City, Brittany May of Richmond, VA, and Steven May of KY; a great granddaughter, Farrah Richards of Richmond, VA; best friend, Paula Anderson; and a son, Keith Jordan of Pittsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant sister, Vera Jean.
