RUTH A. LITTON

Johnston City-Ruth A. Litton, 85, of Johnston City passed away at 9:05 P.M. on Friday June 10, 2011 in the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.

Ruth was born on October 9, 1925 in Williamson County the daughter of Lee and Lizzie (Graul) Ramsey. She married Eugene Litton on July 2, 1943 in Morganfield, KY. He preceded her in death on January 2, 2002.

Ruth was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Ron Litton of Marion, Jerry Litton and wife Brenda of Johnston City, and Jason Litton of Marion; one granddaughter, Billy Jo Lopez and husband William; three brothers, Eugene Ramsey of Pittsburg, Don Ramsey and wife Dorothy of Johnston City, and Charles Ramsey and wife Vanida of Johnston City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Jerry Litton; two brothers, Cecil Ramsey and Leon Ramsey; and two sisters, Louise Harris and Laverne Edwards.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday June 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with Pastor Kenneth Edwards officiating. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Envelopes will be available at the cemetery.
