RUTH ANN RIDEOUT

Marion–Ruth Ann Rideout 84 passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 9:00 P.M. in her family home.

Services will be held at 6:00 P.M., Friday July 15, 2022, in the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Troy Benitone officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sebree, KY in the Springdale Cemetery at 12:00 noon Saturday July 16, 2022.

Ruth was born on September 11, 1937 in Earlington, KY the daughter of O.B. and Stella (Polley) Clark. She married Pastor Raymond Rideout on February 3, 1956. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1977.

Ruth was a R.N. for the Department of Public Health as a Nursing Home Inspector.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherrie Parks and husband Jeff of Herrin; two sons, Donald Rideout of Marion, and Steve Rideout of Marion; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Bohn and husband Matthew, Scott Parks and wife Kannika, and Desrie Farley and husband Stephen; two great granddaughters, Elowyn and Magnolia Farley; one brother, Ronnie Clark; one sister, Francis Eakins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Sue Catherine Clark.
