Sandra N. Sine passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024, at her home.
Sandy was born on August 22, 1943, in Chicago, IL to Aurthur Lindemann and Bernadine Pendergrass. She attended Main West High School in Des Plaines, IL. She was united in marriage to Charles H. Sine on August 20, 1960 in Cook County, IL. Together they shared 63 years of marriage.
She was a homemaker for most of her life, caring for her sons. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, archery, her flowers, and she loved Elvis Presley. She entertained others by dressing up and impersonating Elvis. She also was an avid pool player. Her and her pool league traveled to Las Vegas to compete in the American Poolplayers Association World Championships, competing in the 8-Ball tournament. She was ranked the #1 Female Archery contender in the State of Illinois. Sandy had five recorded Robin Hoods in her archery career.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Sine and four sons: Ralph L. Sine and Scott A. Sine both of Marion; Chuck H. Sine of West Frankfort; Stacey D. Sine of Johnston City. Twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one half-sister and stepdaughter Breanne Sine.
A Celebration of Life will be held later date.
