SHIRLEY ROSE MCCONNELL NANGLE
Herrin-Shirley Rose McConnell Nangle 90 of Herrin formerly of Hurst passed away on Monday February 20, 2012 at 9:46 A.M. at the Herrin Hospital.
There will be a private graveside service at the Miners Cemetery in Royalton on Saturday. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Shirley was born on January 22, 1922 in Downsville, Louisiana the daughter of Marion Gordie and Mitsie (Wilhite) Averett.
She was a beautician and a member of the Family Worship Center in Johnston City.
She is survived by three children, Bonnie Suddath and husband Ron of Johnston City, William Edgar McConnell and wife Margaret of Royalton, and LaDonna Young of Herrin; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Lucille Owens of Louisiana and Pauline Usrey of Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Gene Young.
