STEVEN K. HILL
Thompsonville-Steven K. Hill 47, of Thompsonville passed away at 12:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family and his best friend.

Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Masonic Rites conducted by Lake Creek Masonic Lodge #721 and Pastor Kevin McNeely officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Steven was born on June 11, 1967 in Marion the son of Billy D. and Margaret Jeanette (Arnold) Hill. He married Tammy (Winn) on May 18, 1989 in Paducah, KY. She survives.

Steven was a laborer and a member of the Laborers Local #773. He was a member of the Lake Creek Masonic Lodge #721 of Johnston City. He graduated from Johnston City High School in 1985.

He is survived by four children, Sarah Hill of Johnston City, Alex Hill of Johnston City, Emily Hill of Johnston City, and April Williams of Fayetteville, NC; one granddaughter, Harmony Williams of Fayetteville, NC; three brothers, Billy Dean Hill Jr. and wife Jeanie of Johnston City, Bryan K. Hill and wife Sherri of Thompsonville, and Randy E. Hill and wife Kim of Johnston City; one sister, Melinda Jean Hill of Thompsonville; best friend, Stewart Childress and wife Cheri; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
