TERRY "WILD MAN" BENNETT

Thompsonville–Terry "Wild Man" Bennett 72 passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 4:20 P.M. at home with his family by his side.

Services will be held at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City on Saturday August 28, 2021 at 1:00 P.M with Pastor Keith Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in the Dillingham Cemetery east of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Terry was born on October 29, 1948 in Herrin the son of James Charles and Thelma (Dekema) Bennett. He married Sandra (Clem) on September 30, 2012 in Corinth. She survives.

He worked as a truck driver, a coal miner and operated heavy equipment. He liked riding Harley's when he retired.

He is survived by a son, Aidan; a daughter, Krista; grandchildren, Ashley, Dillion, and Alexis; a great grandson, Race; a brother, Toby Bennett and wife Gay; sisters, Cathy and husband Bob Savant, Melody and husband Paul York, Tammy and husband Harry Mostafa, and Penny Richison; several nieces, nephews, and good friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jarred Bennett; his parent and grandparents.
