THEODORE G. ROHLEN
Herrin-Theodore G. Rohlen 65, of Herrin, formerly of Arenzville, passed away at 12:10 P.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Peter Rask III officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home in Johnston City. A service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday May 23, 2014 at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Burial will be in the Arenzville Cemetery with graveside military rites. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home in Beardstown.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will available at the funeral home.

Theodore was born on February 28, 1949 in Evergreen Park, the son of Hugo and Annie (McNulty) Rohlen.

Theodore was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War proudly serving in the Navy. He was a member of the Williamson County Gun Club where he served as a Line Officer. He was a member of the American Legion of Herrin. He was a member of the N.R.A. He was a proud supporter of Justice for Molly. He was an avid fisherman and a gun and coin collector. He was a Cub's and Miner's fan. He liked going out to eat.

He is survived by one, daughter, Brandy Rohlen of Johnston City; his fiancée, Cathy Hendrickson of Herrin; two step-sons, Joshua Hendrickson and Jordan Hendrickson; grandchildren, Ryan Rohlen-Koerner, Kaitlyn Koerner, Brayden Parker, and Brooklyn Hendrickson; ex-wife, Rebecca Anders of Jacksonville; two sisters, JoAnn Erhardt of Mountain Home, AR, and Corinne Rohlen of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
