TOMMIE SUE TRURAN
Benton-Tommie Sue Truran 67, of Benton passed away at 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in her family home.
Per her request she will be cremated and there will be no services. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.
Tommie was born on March 16, 1947 in Martin, TN the daughter of Luther and Frances (Stockmyer) Miller. She married Thomas "Tom" Truran on June 16, 1987 in Paducah, KY. He survives.
Tommie worked first as a beautician for 15 years and later as a coordinator at the Liberty House in Marion working there for 19 years.
She is survived by her father, Luther Miller and special friend Pat Wilkerson of Dresden, TN; three sons, Robert Bowen and wife Melissa of Knoxville, TN, Dennis Bowen of Arkansas, and Michael A. Bowen at home; a step-daughter, Tracy Lyn Truran of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Judy Miller and husband Bob of Martin, TN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and a brother, Larry Miller.
