TRACIE DAWN (BROWN) HARLIN

Southern Illinois-Tracie Dawn (Brown) Harlin 41, passed away at 12:52 P.M. on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Herrin Hospital.

Tracie was born on March 10, 1973 in Oklahoma City, OK, the daughter of Gerald W. Brown of Cape Coral, FL and the late Mary E. (Singleton) Brown.

Tracie was a school bus driver for Lee County School Board in Cape Coral, FL. She dedicated her life to love of children where she served as a troop leader for the Girl Scouts of America.

She is survived by her companion, Maurice "Eddie" Woodring of Thompsonville; two brothers, Gerald Brown Jr. and wife Nancy of Ft. Meyers, FL., Joseph A. Brown and companion Karen Gandy of Cape Coral, FL; one sister, Kendra Gilbert of Indiana; her fur babies, Ollie, Oscar, and Sammy; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; one nephew; and her beloved dog, "Lady".

Celebration of Life will be held February 5, 2015 at Washington Ave. Baptist Church in Johnston City at 5:00 P.M. Memorial donations will be accepted at the church or by donating to her fund www.gofundme.com/lhtf14. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City is in charge of local arrangements.
