VIOLET LOUISE BEAVER
Johnston City-Violet Louise Beaver 82, of Johnston City passed away at 8:57 A.M. on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Herrin Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 25, 2014, at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Jeff McCluskie officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Violet was born on October 19, 1931 the daughter of Armol and Amie Fox. She married Lee Beaver who preceded her in death.

Violet was a LPN, working at Herrin Hospital for 23 years.

She is survived by a son, Freddie Joe Beaver and wife Sandy of Johnston City; two daughters, Novella Williams of Johnston City and Betty Sasade and husband Philip of Macedonia; 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Danny Beaver; a son-in-law, Billy Williams; 2 grandsons; and a sister, Della McDowell.
