WENDELL LEE DOSS
Stiritz-Wendell Lee Doss 79 of Elizabethton, TN formerly of Stiritz passed away on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at 2:10 A.M. in Johnson City, TN.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday July 19, 2015 at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home in Johnston City with The Very Rev. Kathryn Jeffrey officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City.
Wendell was born on May 21, 1936 in Martwick, KY the son of Preston Sr. and Edith (Brand) Doss. He married Dorothy (Frankland) who preceded him in death on October 11, 2004.
He retired from working in Chicago.
He is survived by a son, Bobby Lee Doss of Carlinville; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; a sister, Helen Fletcher of Elizabethton, TN; a brother, Larry Doss and wife Milena of Whiting, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, P.J. Doss Jr.
