YVONNE GORE
Johnston City -YVONNE 'BONNIE' GORE, 94 of Ypsilanti, MI, formerly of Johnston City, passed away at home Saturday February 2, 2013 in Ypsilanti, MI.
Yvonne was born November 29, 1918 in Johnston City to Thomas McPheron and Allie (Ruff) McPheron. She married Thomas Joseph Gore on January 31, 1945.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Johnston City where she worshiped and served for almost 60 years prior to moving to Michigan to live with her son.
Survivors include sons Joseph Kenley Gore of Herrin, IL, David Kerby Gore of Ypsilanti, MI, granddaughter Gretchen and husband Larry Whitworh of Plano, TX, sisters LaWanda Hutchason of Glen Carbon, IL and Marieta Jo Stallings and husband Raymond of Fairfield, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas, grandson Thad Thomas Gore, sisters Juanita Stover, Beatrice Davison and DIlla Elizabeth (Webb) Tate, niece Kaye (Davison) Morrison and nephew Farren Stover.
Graveside rites will be Friday, February 8, 2013 at Lakeview Cemetery of Johnston City. Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
